Escuela Housing, the training offer to respond in an innovative way to homelessness

HOGAR SÍ and Provivienda are offering free courses for those who want to seek innovative solutions to homelessness, a structural phenomenon that affects more than 37,000 people in Spain. This training offer, focused on empowering professionals and agents of change committed to the cause, is part of the innovation projects Housing Rights and H4Y FUTURE. Both are aimed at implementing a model of accompaniment that promotes the deinstitutionalization processes of people experiencing homelessness.

These courses represent the determined step towards social and professional transformation. Seeking not only to provide valuable skills but also to inspire meaningful change in the way we address homelessness and build innovative solutions for the future.

Innovation to transform the homelessness care system

The new Housing School is characterized by a practical and innovative approach, where participants will not only acquire theoretical knowledge, but will also have spaces where collaboration and the exchange of ideas among participants is encouraged. Guided by professionals with extensive experience in the eradication of homelessness and residential exclusion, participants will learn how to apply their newly acquired skills to ensure that no one lives on the street.

The first courses to be made available are "Person-Centered Approach," "Strengths Approach," "Key Concepts and Elements of Deinstitutionalization," and "Inter-administrative and Inter-sectoral Approach to Addressing Homelessness for a Non-Institutionalizing Response." Courses on self-directed supports, trauma and the regulatory framework will also be published soon.

Registration is open to all professionals from the third sector, public administrations and other people who may be interested in the fight against homelessness. With these training courses, HOGAR SÍ and Provivienda, thanks to funding from the Next Generation EU funds of the Plan for Recovery, Transformation and Resilience of the Ministry of Social Rights and Agenda 2030, promote a positive change in the way we address homelessness. HOGAR SÍ and Provivienda are committed to training the professionals of today and tomorrow who will be the drivers of transformative change in our society.
