Since 2022, Provivienda and HOGAR SÍ, in collaboration with 12 local and regional public administrations, have developed the social innovation projects Derechos a la vivienda and H4Y FUTURO with funding from Next Generation funds through the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan of the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030. The projects seek to transform the current system of care for homelessness, aimed at favoring autonomy, increasing people's control and choice and guaranteeing their right to live independently in housing in the community.
Within this framework, the organizations are presenting the grand final day "Keys to Change: Transforming the Homelessness Care System," which will take place on December 3 and 4 at the Fundación Pablo VI in Madrid. The objective during these two days will be to build a space for dialogue on the current challenges in the homelessness care system and the transfer of knowledge gained to date.
During the event, the results of the innovation projects will be shared , as well as all the evidence and best practices generated through multiple workshops and roundtables of different national and international agents, who will talk about the knowledge generated after the Housing Rights and H4Y FUTURO projects.
The meeting will present the lessons learned and results of the experience of both organizations to transform the network of care for homelessness in Spain, thus providing solutions tailored to each person for the safe and chosen transition to a full life in community.
