Since 2022, HOGAR SÍ and Provivienda, in collaboration with 12 local and regional public administrations, are implementing the innovation projects Housing Rights and H4Y FUTURE with funding from Next Generation funds through the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan of the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030. The projects seek to transform the current system of care for homelessness, aimed at favoring autonomy, increasing people's control and choice and guaranteeing their right to live independently in housing in the community.
In this context, Provivienda and HOGAR SÍ will organize on October 29th, the conference "Keys for Change: The Housing Rights Project in Barcelona", in collaboration with the Barcelona City Council. The event, which will take place from 10:30 a.m. at Casa Rius, will address the main lessons learned in the region for the transformation of the homelessness care system through the Housing Rights program.
The event will be attended by representatives of the Barcelona City Council, such as Nuria Menta, Director of Social Intervention Services, Marina Sánchez, Head of the Department of Services and Programs of Individual Housing for the Homeless, Carme Fortea, Director of Homelessness Services, Susana Bonet, Director of Residential Services and Sonia Fuertes, Commissioner of Social Action; as well as specialists in the field of Provivienda and HOGAR SÍ.
