Since 2022, HOGAR SÍ and Provivienda, in collaboration with 12 local and regional public administrations, are implementing the innovation projects Housing Rights and H4Y FUTURE with funding from Next Generation funds through the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan of the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030. The projects seek to transform the current system of care for homelessness, aimed at favoring autonomy, increasing people's control and choice and guaranteeing their right to live independently in housing in the community.
In this context, Provivienda and HOGAR SÍ will organize on November 19, the conference "Keys for Change: The Housing Rights and H4Y FUTURE project in Mallorca", in collaboration with the Consell de Mallorca through the Institut Mallorquí d'Afers Socials (IMAS).. The event, which will take place from 10:00 am at Casa Esment in Palma de Mallorca, will address the main lessons learned in the territory for the transformation of the system of care for homelessness through the programs Housing Rights and HAY FUTURE.
The event will be attended by Andreu Jaume Castañer, Insular director of Social Inclusion of the Consell de Mallorca; Sebastià Cerdà, head of the Social Inclusion service of IMAS; Francisca Simó, head of the Social Inclusion department of IMAS; as well as managers and specialists in the field of Provivienda and HOGAR SÍ.
